Service to others is at the core of the mission of Malvern Preparatory School. Recently, the school took part in two initiatives that reflected this dedication to service.
Malvern Students “Dress Down” to Support Coatesville Fire Victims

On Friday, February 6, a Dress Down Day was held to raise funds to help the victims of the recent fires in Coatesville. Contributing students were permitted to take a break from their coats and ties “dress down” in casual clothes. A collection of $3,000 was raised, and a check was presented to Citadel Federal Credit Union to support the Coatesville residents.
Malvern Students Recognized at 2008 Walk to Cure Diabetes Awards and Appreciation Reception

The School’s Malvern Against Diabetes (MAD) team was recognized at Citizens Bank Park Diamond Club on Saturday, February 8 as the Top School Team in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at its awards reception. The team of Cameron Fuller, Joe McGrail and Michael Bernier raised more than $8,000 to support diabetes research.
